From the Yard to the Next Chapter: Honoring Our 2026 Graduates

The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. have long recognized education as a cornerstone of personal growth, leadership, and service. This year, we proudly celebrate three outstanding brothers from Theta Chapter at Huston-Tillotson University and Mu Rho Chapter at The University of Texas at Austin as they join the Class of 2026 and embark on the next chapter of their journeys.

Representing a diverse range of academic disciplines, these graduates have demonstrated a commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Brother Trenton L. Mosby of Mu Rho Chapter earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, a Minor in African and African American Diaspora Studies, and a Certificate in Pre-Health Professions. Brother Mason O. Thompson of Theta Chapter earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with an Education Certification and a Minor in African American Studies. Brother Willie J. Shovels, IV of Theta Chapter earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

While their academic paths may differ, each brother shares a common commitment to growth, leadership, and the pursuit of excellence. Their accomplishments reflect countless hours of study, perseverance through challenges, and dedication to achieving their goals while representing the values of Phi Beta Sigma.

As they leave their respective campuses and enter new professional and academic opportunities, they carry with them the lessons learned through brotherhood and the responsibility of serving as ambassadors for our Fraternity. Whether pursuing careers in healthcare, education, technology, or beyond, these brothers are prepared to make meaningful contributions to their communities and professions.
