What Makes Psi Beta Sigma Speacial?
From boardrooms to classrooms, churches to city halls, our brothers lead with purpose and serve with passion. We are educators, entrepreneurs, veterans, community leaders, and mentors united by a common mission: to leave a lasting impact on every life we touch.
We don't just talk about service—we live it. Through mentorship, community engagement, educational support, and civic leadership, our brothers work every day to create opportunities, uplift communities, and inspire the next generation.
Ninety-plus years later, our mission remains the same: to serve, to lead, and to leave every community better than we found it.
A TRUE BROTHERHOOD
About Phi Beta Sigma
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is a global organization built on a legacy of excellence. Its journey began on Friday, January 9, 1914, when the Honorable A. Langston Taylor, Honorable Leonard F. Morse, and Honorable Charles I. Brown founded the fraternity on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C.
These visionary founders established a tradition of cultivating distinguished scholars dedicated to impacting society through the principles of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. Over a century later, with more than 225,000 members initiated, Phi Beta Sigma stands as one of the oldest African American institutions in the nation. Its members have consistently been high achievers, trailblazers, and influential leaders.
